National MP Melissa Lee has had a positive influence on the NZ velvet industry over the years. Melissa’s behind the scenes involvement with the Korea NZ Free Trade Agreement and great relationship with key Korean food companies has helped NZ industries generally. The Korean born MP is well respected by large Korean companies and from a young age, consumed velvet brewed by her mother in a traditional format. So it was great to take Melissa and colleague - National MP for Rangitata, Andrew Falloon - to Mount Hutt Station and finally see some NZ farmed deer. Many thanks Bruce.
